Nothing is edited or deleted
Captures, decisions, policies and the audit log can only be added to. A correction is a new record that points to the old one, and both stay.
For freight brokers
TenderRecord keeps a tamper-evident record of what your team saw about a carrier, the written policy you applied, and the decision you made, at the moment you made it.
We do not vet. We record.
Chain verified
After a crash, a theft or a double-brokered load, your insurer, your shipper or a lawyer will ask how you picked that carrier. Screenshots in an inbox, notes in a spreadsheet and a policy PDF on a shared drive do not show what was on the screen that day, which rules were in force, or who signed off.
TenderRecord captures all of it at the moment of the decision and seals it, so the answer is ready the day someone asks.
How it works
On any vetting site, click Record in the Chrome extension. It saves a full-page screenshot and reads the key fields. TenderRecord also pulls the carrier's official FMCSA record, and you can drop in screenshots from any tool.
Your written carrier policy becomes clear rules: authority, out-of-service, safety rating, insurance, safety alerts and more. Every rule shows pass, review or fail, and where the answer came from.
Approve, reject, or approve with an exception. Exceptions need a reason and, if your policy says so, a second person to sign. Everyone signs under their own name.
Export an evidence packet for a load, a carrier or a date range: a readable PDF plus the underlying data, and a public link anyone can use to check the record was not changed.
Why it holds up
Captures, decisions, policies and the audit log can only be added to. A correction is a new record that points to the old one, and both stay.
Each record carries a SHA-256 fingerprint and the fingerprint of the one before it. Change one character anywhere and the chain shows exactly where.
Each decision gets a signed timestamp from an independent timestamp authority (RFC 3161), so the time does not depend on our word.
Once a day the latest fingerprint of your records is published outside TenderRecord. It reveals nothing about the records; it proves they existed and have not changed since.
Anyone with a decision's link can confirm its fingerprint and timestamp without an account. The packet's data file lets an expert recompute everything independently.
Every decision names the exact policy version in force that day. Publishing a new version never rewrites the old one.
Sources
TenderRecord does not replace your vetting subscriptions or score carriers. It records what those tools showed your team, next to the official FMCSA record, at the moment of the decision.
The extension records only when someone clicks. It never runs in the background and never stores your passwords for other sites.
Product names belong to their owners. TenderRecord is not affiliated with them.
Who it is for
Record, check and decide on one screen, opened from a link in your TMS. No copying fields, no screenshots in email.
Write the policy once, see every exception and who signed it, and export a packet the day someone asks.
Show insurers and shippers a consistent, documented carrier selection process, backed by records instead of promises.

Questions
No. Your team and your vetting tools decide. TenderRecord records what was seen, checks it against your own written policy, and keeps the decision and the reason.
No. Keep the tools you use. The Chrome extension records the page you are looking at, and FMCSA records are pulled for you.
Only the page you are on, and only when you click Record. You review the fields it read before anything is saved. It does not run in the background and does not store passwords for other sites.
You check and correct the fields before recording, and the record shows which fields a person confirmed. The screenshot is kept exactly as captured.
A readable PDF with the decision, the policy version in force, every rule result, the screenshots and data from each source, and an integrity page. It comes with the underlying data file so the fingerprints can be recomputed independently.
No. Records are only ever added. If something needs correcting, a new record is added that points to the original, and both are kept.
An admin signs up, adopts a policy (a ready-made template is included), invites the team and installs the extension. You can record your first decision the same day.
